New Haircut, New Job

Today is a great day! Mostly because I got a job that I really wanted. Starting Wednesday, I'll be working at a local real estate office at the front desk. :)

This is my intentionally creepy excited face.
Okay that picture is weird, but anyway, I also got a haircut this morning before my interviews. It's not much different, but I definitely needed my split ends trimmed off. I got a tiny bit of layering done too, and it starts at my bangs and becomes longer from there.

Not much different, but it feels healthier without crunchy split ends.
Ah, I still have a bit of interview-stress-acne, and it's always on my chin. Too bad it's not socially acceptable to grow a goatee, unless you're a bearded lady at the circus or something. Also, I can't grow one. Hmm, I'll deal with it.

I want to wear my new boots all the time! How cool are these? They were on sale at Sears yesterday for $9.99. I went to Sears because they gave me $5 in free points to use on anything up until today, and so these boots would have cost about four to five dollars, since I already had about a dollar worth of points. But, I actually found a white blazer that I liked, and bought that too. Yay! Now I can look super fashionable for Spring. ^_^   If you're interested, these boots are called the "Miley boots".

I went to The Fresh Market after my last interview today, and I found these pots of chives for $3 each. I love chives, and dried ones at the grocery store cost a lot, so I was excited to find these because they're already grown. And they'll look nice in the kitchen window of our house, even though we won't move in until May. I was also a slightly bad person and bought a sushi feast from Fresh Market. Although, a bunch of tasty sushi for about $18 is a pretty great deal in my opinion.

So, I'm so so so happy today. I hope everyone else is having a great day too. <3
