Valentines Day/Birthday

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone who actually cares about it (I know some people kind of hate this day). I don't think I would really care much about Valentine's Day if it wasn't also my birthday. Of course, I totally wouldn't mind if someone bought me chocolate. Ryan got me some Godiva chocolate truffles, so I'm happy! :)

Sorry my pictures look really bright today. It was actually pretty sunny and warm enough to be light jacket weather. Except it snowed a bit yesterday morning, even though it was gone by lunch time. Weird weather lately. Anyway, this is what I'm wearing today, though I'll probably put on a dress or skirt later tonight, since me and Ryan are going out to dinner (sushi of course!).

I went to the mall today and bought a few things, because it's my birthday and because I got my tax return yesterday. It wasn't much of a refund, but it helps anyway. I mostly bought jewelry from Forever21, but I also found a really cute skirt on clearance for $3.99. If I wear it to dinner tonight, I'll be sure to take some pictures.

I love these shoes so much! I found them at a local consignment shop for only $7.50. I was so disappointed when I first found them, because they were either a whole or half size too small, but I tried them on and they fit just fine. I like pointy toed heels to be smaller anyway, or the back feels loose because my toes move down to the front of the shoe. These are very festive, right? ;)

The two little gold bracelets on the right are new ones I bought at Forever21 today. I really like the look of stacked bracelets, and I realized today that I only had two that were good for stacking. I'd say my heart bracelet from Jewelmint is very appropriate for Valentine's Day.

I also stopped by Rue 21 today, since they're now in the mall too. They used to be in a shopping center near our Target and Ulta stores. Rue 21 had nail polishes on sale for 2 for $5, instead of the regular one for $3.99, so I bought two. I think this one is a great metallic gold color.

This pale mauve nail polish with rainbow glitter kind of reminded me of icing and sprinkles, so I thought I'd get this one as my "birthday polish". Unfortunately, the color is very light and transparent, but I'll try to see what it looks like later over a base color coat.

Oh, by the way, I actually just found out today that Rob Thomas has the same birthday as I do. He's older of course. I was really surprised that I didn't already know that, since I've loved Rob and Matchbox 20 forever. Do you have a favorite celebrity/famous person who shares your birth date?
