Skin 79 VIP Gold Collection BB Review

     Hi guys! Yesterday I got a package in the mail from Amazon, and it was the first BB cream I've bought. Before buying this one, I wasn't sure if the pink or gold would be best for me, but after reading reviews on both, I decided to go ahead and try the gold package. I bought a 40g bottle of BB cream from the Amazon seller Pink Gelee. The shipping was quick, and they sent me a small sample of the pink Skin 79 BB so I could try that out as well.

First of all, I like the packaging. The holographic look is cool, and the box is very informative. I really like the BB container, as it has a pump that easily releases the exact amount of product that I need. When I wanted only a tiny dot of BB cream, I just gently pushed down on the top, and got the amount I needed. That's really great for any kind of face makeup, because I never want to waste any of it, and some foundations and things that I've bought in the past are difficult to use when pumping out the product.

I'm wearing Maybelline Falsies mascara, Skin79 BB, and a bit of eyeshadow

The color of the BB cream is sort of a dull beige with grey undertones when it first comes out, but I think it does a pretty good job of fitting it with my skin tone. The bottle says "whitening", so I guess it sort of lightens up in color when I apply in to my skin. This product looks very natural, as opposed to the liquid foundation I've been using. You can tell, because in this picture, you can actually see that I have freckles. It doesn't cover them up, but it helps to even out my redness, which usually occurs on my chin, nose, and cheeks. The Gold BB cream has light coverage, but it is easy to build up more product to mask small trouble spots. Though, if I had any large blemishes, I would definitely use some concealer also.

Overall, I really like this Skin 79's Gold Collection BB, and I think it will be especially great for summer time because of the SPF 25, and the fact that it feels like you're not even wearing a face product because it's so light.
