Freebie Friday

It's been a little while since I've made a Freebie Friday post, so here is one for today!

1.) Free Cup of Starbucks' Blonde Roast Coffee

You can get a free cup of Starbucks' blonde roast coffee for yourself and a friend (up to a $2.60 value). This deal is on Facebook, but you don't even have to like the page in order to get this deal. All you have to do is enter your email and a friend's email, and they'll send you the details. I guess this goes for anywhere they have a Starbucks.

2.) Free Sample of Wooden Strawberry Beads

This freebie is interesting to me because I like to make crafts and things like that. These wooden strawberry beads would be super cute as jewelry (like a bracelet!), or you could glue them onto things (scrapbooking?) or attach a stick-on magnet to the back and put them on your fridge. The thing about this freebie is that it opens at 10 am EDT on Sunday the 17th, and there is a limited quantity, so I'll have to remind myself to check it. From Wholeport.com. Check out the great jewelry making supplies on this site, even if you don't care for the strawberry beads. Besides, look at these cat beads! I assume this is international, as it ships from Hong Kong.

3.) Free Calico Mineral Lotion

This is for US and Canada only, and you must be 18 or older to fill out the form (according to the site). I assume you get a sample of all three of these, because it says "sample of our 3-step system".

4.) Free Samples of Sweet Libertine Handmade Mineral Makeup

Sweet Libertine has some really great products. I love their colors of eyeshadow! This is not exactly a freebie, but in order to get some free makeup samples, just send a self addressed envelope to them, and they'll send it back to you with samples inside! SL is located in Ohio, but they say that they can send freebies out internationally if you include an International Reply Coupon with you envelope. View all the details here.

5.) Five Free Fabric Swatches

Once again, this one is also great for us crafty people! Get 5 free swatches of fabric from Distinctive Fabric Superstore by providing your email and mailing address. Swatches are great for making small things like patches or phone cozies. Sorry, but this is US only.

It took me a while just to find these five things, so I guess there isn't a lot of free stuff today. I better get my free coffee though! :) By the way, I've noticed that you don't get free things for your birthday anymore. It's now all "get buy one get one free ice cream for your birthday" when places used to just give you a completely free treat. I either blame the economy or marketing tactics for that.
