The Weekend/New Years Eve

Hi all! It's 2013! I'm hoping this will be a great year, even though 2012 ended on a sour note for me. I guess my main goals for this year are to get a job I really enjoy, and also, we're buying a house this year. I'm not sure that's really a goal, so much as an excited thing that I'm waiting for.
 Last night was a really great time, as we waited out the end of 2012 with friends. I think these pictures sum up very well how our little party went last night (well, if we were adorable animals that is).

Yep, that all pretty much happened, but it was less cute. Haha. A lot of the night consisted of playing the Wii U, and me losing most games. But, I did get a high score on Just Dance 4, even though I'm still not 100% sure how to play it. I probably looked like this most of the time:

Yep, accurate depiction of me dancing. Everyone ended up dancing, and I especially liked when four people did Gangnam Style. :)

Over the weekend it snowed even more, but it didn't end up adding much to the ground. Friday night the snow flakes were HUGE though!

This is an almost finished snow fort made by my friend Spencer. It's legit because of the saw.
And that leads to today, where I'm sitting at home, browsing the internet, being lazy, but also trying to invent sauces for tasty burritos. Well, I guess I'll have to get to work on some sewing soon though. Have a good first day of the year!
