It's Boring for a Reason

Hi guys! So, my outfit today is really boring, with no color at all. :( Very dull colors for a dull looking winter day. But, the reason for that is because I had an interview today, followed with going to a job fair. I've never been to a job fair before, but there were a lot of different types of businesses, as well as very different types of people.

So this was my interview and job fair outfit. I should probably buy a colorful, fitted button-up shirt. Hey, can you tell that I dyed my hair? I'm not sure I can even tell, but maybe it's a bit darker and less red. I used a Garnier dye in the color "Brown Sugar".

Today, I finally got my prize from winning the Bevel Jewelry Giveaway on Erin's blog, Cali Vintage. The giveaway was back in November, but I wasn't contacted about it until about a month later. No worries though, because it was a nice surprise!

This is the bracelet I won. It's made from wood found in New Jersey, according to the tag, and it's a part of the "Sabi Collection". I would definitely say this bracelet is my style, because it's woodsy with geometric gold shapes. The only thing I'm not sure I like about it is the size. I think it could easily be an inch shorter, and be much more wearable.

Here's what the bracelet looks like with my arm relaxed, so maybe you can see how it might be a bit difficult to wear. It sort of gets in the way when you need to bend your wrist. I think I might try to just put longer chains on this and make it into a necklace. That way I can wear it more comfortably.

I got these sunglasses for my birthday, and they're from a cigarette company, even though I don't smoke. Oh well, uh.., thanks anyway? They look pretty cool I guess. hehe.

Oh, and I almost forgot to add this: Thank you to my 190 followers! I never expected to get many followers when I started this blog, but I think I'm really putting a lot of my self into this blog, so I'm glad people actually like to read it. :) So, I'm going to do a 200 Followers Giveaway once I get to that point.
